Hi
I have two strange computers but I don't know what is this and I can't find any informations about them in internet. What I see is that there is MC68000 CPU on motherboard and some RAM chips on the card closer to power supply. Does anyone know what is this and what can I do with them?

I don't have keyboard for them and there is no video board inside. If someone would like to buy I would sell tem because I have them for around 3 years and don't know how to start playing with them but I think that they would not survive shipping.

For some reason I'm guessing it has video on the mainboard and the video signal is output on the 15-pin connector. Examining the mainboard would give answers.

I am thinking that there is no video card because slot called "Video" is empty but maybe You are right. I have to make more photos and read datasheets about the biggest chips.

CTM (Computertechnik Müller) has always pursued the concept of fat clients:
So regardless of whether it's a computer/server or terminal/client, the machines are always CPUs with RAM/ROM, video interface, and I/O for keyboards.

Your parts are the second generation of CTM computers, which means MC 68000-based servers and clients.
Everything at CTM is proprietary: computers, monitors, keyboards, operating systems (ITOS), software (written in Makro-Assembler).

Could you please post a picture of the inside of the box with the 9016 on it...?
Usually 9016 ist the "server" and BAP 90 the client (Bildschirm Arbeitsplatz = workstation)
But your 9016 looks likes it is a BAP - less high and there is no mass storage...
Every "server" is also a workstation.

Here is a typical setup:

The only difference between the "client" and the "server" is the fact, that the server has an internal I/O bis with a mass storage controller (FDD, MFM HDD, QIC) and mass storage devices.
CTM used their own LAN (called DNÜ - Daten-Nah-Übertragung).

The "server" started, loading the ITOS OS.
The "client" polls via LAN, then also loads the ITOS OS via LAN.
You can work on the "server" (called ZAP - Zentraler Arbeits-Platz) or on the "client" (BAP - Bildschirm Arbeits-Platz).
Working on the ZAP means that programs an data are directly loaded from the harddisk, working on the BAP, means that programs an data are loaded via the LAN, but executed locally on the BAP.

The software was very office / business based (accounting, writing, ...) for a lot of business fields (healthcare, hotel business, judiciary,...)
