Ok, hell, yeah. Didn't you know that?

You have to sacrifice an AM9050EPC RAM chip on an alter made of a 4040 with the Vcc and ground tied directly together under power and then dance around it in the direction of the platter spin shaking the hacked off device power leads from a PC jr.

Works every time.

I live by the somewhat simpler practise of just sacrificing blood when I shuffle with hard disks of all ages. It origins from SCSI systems I think, but should work with most interfaces.
