This might belong more on a general electronics forum but I will try here.
Does anyone recognize the symbol of this component?
It's in an MP3 player which has a dead short and I suspect this as I put a small amount of power in with current limiting on and after about 10 seconds this is the thing that started getting hot.
AI says it's a "TVS Diode" but I couldn't verify that.
