What is this?

I noticed something interesting while taking some photos of the motheboard in the Prolinea 4/66.

At first I thought it was a slot for a VLB extension, but then I noticed that it is shorter than a VLB slot, and it is also not in-line with the single ISA slot that the riser card is in, so I don't think it is, is it?

if not, then does anyone know what it is, and what it could be used for?

Yup, looks like a socket for a COASt module.

But here's the rub. Most COASt modules that you find are for P1 systems and won't work on 486 boxes. There's probably a very specific module that the Prolinea needs.
