Wicat 150

Man, this project went into the weeds.
I still have the system and boards but I never got far beyond debugging the terminal board and it's not once actually given my many other signs of life because this thing is jumper and dip switch hell.

Al Kossow of Bitsavers fame is interested in Wicat systems.
I do believe much of the hardware in my possession still at one point or another went through him. When the subject came up in Montreal the other month I stumbled on the previous owner of my machine, so he was happy to see things went to good homes.

As a follow-up however, I've done nothing on this since late 2023. Fvzappa has offered to let me go over his machine to make not how how the jumpers are all set on his (however a visit to his pace isn't a cheery afternoon adventure) but other than Billy Sunday who has not replied in the last two years I've found nobody else with a Wicat system in any condition. (EDITED: other than Al and Bruce who my notes indicate both I've spoken to on and off) I'll try and keep the machine and boards accessible (because the lid is missing you can't stack anything on it) but I'm not actively working on it anymore.

I have two chassis and a bunch of boards. Bruce Ray has one (Wild Hare used to sell them)

FYI: I have a Wicat S2000 (IIRC) 68020-based server, insofar as it is an open 9U VME card cage, that I received from John Allain circa 2003. Came with a Fuji Eagle w/ the OS that is buried at the back of a storage locker, unfortunately. When I can reach the Eagle, it and the S2000 should go to a new home together.
