I recently got an Atari XE Game System complete with keyboard and light pistol.
Does anyone know which power supply originally came with it?
Mine didn't have one.

Thanks.

According to section 6.7 in the Atari 8-bit FAQ, the XE game system was shipped with power supply CO70042, which outputs 5V DC 1A, max 17W. There exists two versions of this one, the Mini and the Logo of which the Logo is recommended. Of course any beefier 5V DC power supply will work as well.

Any power supply designed for the Atari 600XL, 800XL, or any of the Atari XE computer series will work fine with the XEGS.

But beware: a Commodore 64 power supply will NOT work -- the connector is the same, but the voltages and pinout are different!

Thanks guys.

Borrowed an 800XL supply to test the XEGS and everything works, even the light pistol.

Guess I need to find me a CO70042. Anybody got an extra?
