Hi,
I have a XT-IDE-Lite 4.1 that I can't seem to get working.
I also have XT-IDE rev 04 that does work.
The CF card boots to dos 6.22 on the XT-IDE
But I get errors with the Lite. Please see the pictures.
The Lite has an the original 2013 bios. I have been looking for a step by step guide to updating it (with links to the files and programs needed), but can't find one my simple mind can understand. Most Hex, I/O memory addresses, IRQ's are above my pay grade.
The menu at the top of the screen for choose which device t boot from has scrolled off the screen in my pic.
But I have noticed that there is no response from pressing keys A, C, or F6. It always tried C, fails then A
I have tried changing SW2 switches show here:
"My personal experience its best to initially setup your card with the following DIP Switch settings.
Try putting the XT-IDE Extension ROM on Address 0xCA000 SW2.3-7(11010) and if you have the floppy controller put it on 0xC8000 SW2.3-7 (11011)"
And the system hangs.
The bigger XT-IDE works in almost any MB I put it into.
Any help would be appreciated.
