Greetings from Germany!
I came along to let the community know about the on-going effort of understanding Zuse Z1 - a binary mechanical floating point free programmable computer conceived nearly 90 years ago and re-built over 30 years ago. I wrote a simulation of the ALU. It runs in browser offline and without plugins. There are many open questions - would be dull otherwise, wouldn't it.

An explanation and list of sources are behind the "?" button.
About me: had Sinclair ZX80 with cassette recorder as school kid; liked decoding mom's punch cards just for fun and making paper snakes out of punch tapes; played with grandpa's U-shape mercury pressure gauges.
