Yes... since today I have a new PC in my collection. It's a IBM 5162 ( IBM XT/286 ). It has:

1x 5 1/4 internal floppy drive IBM
1x 5 1/4 hard drive ST-228
1x I/O controller parallel / seriell
1x harddrive-controller
1x floppy controller
1x graphic card 8bit

1x IBM external floppy drive 3 1/2 720KB IBM
1x IBM Tastatur ( Modell M ? )

In a few days I want to test the system. Before I have to know more about the graphics card. It has a 9-pin connector and a dip-switch 1-4. In total hardware i can't find that card.

The bios chip says:
Compatibility Software (c) 1985/1986/E Phoenix Software Assoc. Ltd.

The other chips has some more information

1x CHIPS P82C432A M70H004
1x CHIPS P82C433 M74H003
1x CHIPS P82C431 7014-0023
1x CHIPS P82C434A 7014-0054

It's probably an EGA card. Do you have any photos of your system and cards?

The XT/286 is probably my favourite machine too, but mine has a fried PSU :(

hmmm. OK. I think with the Dip-Switch ( 1-4 ) i configure the different monitor types. I have to know the correct settings before i connect a MCA / CGA / EGA Monitor.
Photos I publish later.

High quality pictures would be nice here (front and back side. Most of the text - if any - must be readable).

If you need them, I have the original roms for an IBM 5162 (I pulled and dumped them from a system that was unfortunately being trashed and I couldn't rescue due to legal issues regarding the machine's prior owners :( ). The only thing I request in return is good pictures of the motherboard, something I was unable to take myself; I want to see if it uses the same two PALs (on 5170: 1501824 at u87; 1503135 at u130) and two PROMS (on 5170: 55x8041 at u72; 1501814 at u115) as the 5170 MBs do, and that it uses the same 1503033 i8042 keyboard controller. (this would be to help out the MESS project, which is trying to do a completely accurate emulation of the various original IBM PC hardware)
If anyone happens to have the advanced hardware manual for the 5162 (with the motherboard schematic) I would REALLY like to borrow it.
