I am Looking for "Rainbow" "Color Computer" Magazines from the Mid-1980s . . .
(Around 1986-ish) ( I am Seeking 3 Specific Ones ).

Does anyone have any of these (?)

Thanks !

I am Not Sure of the Exact Ones/Dates (Long time ago).

Around 1986 (Summer?) (Or - Range 1985 to 1987).

One had Baseball on the Cover, I think One was an anniversary edition with a lot of thin Characters on the Cover (Pink background).

The Specific "Articles" I am Searching for are Titled -

"AMNOTRON"
and
"Simple Flight Simulator" - It says the Words "CoCo Jet" in it.

I can't recall the 3rd Title, but there were 3.

Do You have Actual Magazines ? - In Hand ?

Thanks !

???

Anyone Else ?

Anyone else Have any or Know Who Might ?

I heard there was a Project to SCAN these to PDF a while back, but, I don't Know what ever happened to that.

I have the year of 84 and 8 issues of 87 - didn't see any articles pertaining to AMNOTRON, or Simple Flight Simulator in any of those - so apparently 86 will be the correct year you are looking for. Sorry I don't have any from 86.

Any Others or Scanned ?

Any Others or Scanned ?

Any others out there ?

Anyone heard of that "Scan" Project ? - I tried Google, but, couldn't find it.

???

Thanks !

July 1986

July 1986

It looks like "AMNOTRON" was in - JULY 1986 , Page 54.

Yahoo group "RainbowArchive".

Go through the messages, and you'll find links to RapidShare LinkLists.
They have about 80-90% of the Rainbow mags scanned up already, 100dpi, about 500-700MB per year. excalibur1.net has some REALLY large scans, and sq1bbs.com has a backup archive of the 100dpi scans. Also, remember ftp.maltedmedia.com as well. Many mags, both std coco and OS9, manual scans, etc...

If You want to see the Specific Articles I was searching for , Go to . . .

http://press.archor.com

And Click on . . .

Color Computer Magazine - July 1986

Color Computer Magazine - August 1986

Color Computer Magazine - October 1987

. . . The Files are kinda large, so, give it a bit to download.

- I would still like to get the Actual Original Magazines someday, but, the Digitals are OK for NoW.

Excalibur1.net/coco will be going away REAL soon now, if it's NOT already gone. The owner was told by the hosting company to remove it, plus it was doing about 1TB of bandwidth/month.

So, if it' still up, and there's something you want, i'd grab it now!

There's also sq1bbs.com, and also ftp.maltedmedia.com

Please be bandwidth-kind to these folks, and don't just do a massive one-night download...
