Hi, I tripped over this site and decided to join as I have a old computer that I havent looked at in many years.
It is a desktop with a hinged lid that stays up like a record player.
The hard drive is made by Otari Electric Japan. Model c-526.
The psu is 190 Watts Taiwan Liten Electronic co.It is physically larger than newer psus and sits sideways at the back.
It has 8 slots about the size of pci slots. 3 foot long cards plugged in and 3 half length cards
Has "8MB Turbo Board" and "copyright 1986" printed on the main board
I will have to pull the cards to find out which one is the video card. I dont recognize any video connector types[ they all have too many pins].
:)

Sounds like a pretty standard XT clone. The video is probably TTL mono or maybe CGA; in either case the connector is probably a 9-pin female D-sub (9 holes) and may be on the same bracket as the 25-pin female printer connector.

Yeah one of the short cards has a 9 pin video and a printer port.
The hard drive is 20 megs.
The cpus are on a daughter card with two toggles switches- 8088 or 80286 and cache on/off
one long card is a modem.
This is a doorstop at the moment as I have no 84 key keyboard and worse no 9 pin monitor mda I think.:)
ps.. 8bit slots
