Looking for the converter that will allow you to use Atari joysticks on the TI-99/4a, I've heard the most common ones are made by Wico or a company called Champ?

PM me if you've got one, we'll work something out.

On another forum I read, a guy just recently had looked into rolling his own adapters. He had lookup up these sources:

http://www.hardwarebook.info/TI-99/4A_Joystick_Port
http://99er.net/joy.html

Other people found out the "test joystick" pin works as ground.

Here are some diagrams how to hook it up:

http://www.atarimagazines.com/compute/issue43/128_1_READERS_FEEDBACK_Dual_Joystick_Control_On_The_TI-99_4A.php

That is if you can't find any ready-made adapter. I don't know if the COMPUTE! diagrams work differently than e.g. the Wico made adapter.

The Wico adapters were the best ones ever made for the TI. Extremely stable.
