Doesn't look like a hard disk controller, there's not enough "stuff" on it. While I'm not familiar with this particular board, I think it's a Disk II clone that can also make use of IBM PC type disk drives instead of Disk II's.

It's a combo Disk II/MFM floppy controller -- probably a Eurphi Controller or something similar. It's hard to read but the giveaway is the "Shugart" label (34 pin MFM interface) on the card. Does it say it was made in Germany?

Ah yeah Shugart would be a dead give away. I didn't make that out before.

so on this controller ..can be attached IBM PC floppy ? 1.2 Mb /DSHD/ ?

I'm not positive but it's probably limited to DSDD @ 360K but the actual capacity might be less -- and usually DOS has to be patched.
