Unisys CWD complete system: 486 DX4-100, 32 MB RAM, appropriate model 545 MB hard drive, built-in 10Mbit Ethernet and video, one free half-length ISA slot, Windows 95 installed, IE5.5 (though it's almost unusable and probably needs to be replaced with an earlier version). Has some scratches on the bottom and back, but not visible from the front.

Includes Backpack 4x CD-ROM drive w/ sound card, power supply, manuals, and tons of driver floppies, and beige ViewSonic ViewPanel VE170 17" LCD monitor w/ power supply and VGA cable. Can also include the keyboard and mouse if needed.

$150

Dell Latitude 433c w/ case. 486 SX 33MHz, 4MB RAM, 80MB hard drive, MS-DOS 6.20, Windows 3.1, WordPerfect for Windows 6.0. Needs new CMOS battery. Case has usual cracking for laptop of its age around rear ports and hinges (pictured).

Original Dell-branded carrying case is in great condition. Carrying case is missing shoulder strap and has a thin stripe of what looks like dark red paint, but it's not noticeable, and the case is very presentable.

Includes two battery packs, both dead, one pried open by previous owner; can remove to reduce shipping weight. Also includes power supply, a few disks, manuals, and a Xircom CreditCard Modem 28.8 w/ dongle.

$50

3x Intel 8/16 ISA network cards (one not pictured) + a coaxial cable of unknown length. $10

Mitsumi 1x CD-ROM drive + controller card. Rather than having a tray, the entire drive ejects from the case. Controller card connects to speakers through two RCA jacks rather than a TRS connector. Not sure if I want to part with this combo, but I could for the right offer.

Smart One 2400 external modem (no power supply) + BitCom communications software on 5¼" floppy + manuals for both. $5

Irwin 145 tape drive from a Compaq Deskpro. I believe I have the cable for this. Takes 40MB tapes, from what I recall. Does not include the Deskpro drive rails. $5

AST 3G PAK upgrade board + port leads. EGA video, clock, parallel port, serial port on one card. Not sure if it adds expanded memory. $15

1MB VLB video card, S3 805i chipset. $10

027.jpg

Genuine Compaq Deskpro I/O card (corroded bracket, but rest looks OK). VLB I/O card, ISA I/O card, both Winbond chipset, both w/ port leads (not picutred). Each $5

029.jpg

Compaq Deskpro drive fillers. $5 each

Deskpro Keyboard. Could use a round or two of Retr0bright. Label was covered by WP cheat sheet, so it still has all its color. Has working cable, but will definitely need to be replaced (generic detatchable). Needs contacts cleaned, but I can do that before I ship. $20

Dekpro 286 case lid. Some scuffing, scratch on top. $15

I also have some not-so-vintage items for sale:

Socket 7 Pentium 233MHz. The motherboard it's in seems to be fried, so I can't test it. I can send the motherboard, or just the chip. $5

Radeon 9800XT 256MB AGP, no heatsink. $20

2x Asus A7V333 socket A motherboards. Onboard everything except video. 4x/2x AGP slot, supports up to 3GB DDR333. Each includes box, User's Manual, Quick Start Guide, Quick Reference Card, jumper reference sticker, I/O plate. Only one contains a case sticker, disk and ribbon cables, so they go to the first person who wants them. Can't test fully because I don't have a working CPU, but they both power on, and were working when pulled. $20 each

Various free things, assuming you buy something and it fits in the box with what you've purchased:

Compaq VDU, might not work.
Mystery 8-bit network card, probably doesn't work.
Modem Blaster Flash56 ISA
Two random PCI modems
What looks to be a socket A heatsink
Three older case fans, one small two-prong connector, two large two-prong connector.

I realize that this probably isn't the market for it, but I might as well put it out there: I've also got a Gateway 960X for sale. It's got two 2.4 GHz dual-core Xeon processors, 1 GB PC2100, 3x Seagate Cheetah Ultra320 hard drives model ST336753LC. Includes gigabit ethernet card. You can find the manual here. I'll only ship UPS or FedEx, and if you have to ask how much it'll cost to ship, I'll only answer, "Too much." It weighs a ton.

Buyers pay for shipping on all items, obviously. Systems are tested and working, parts are untested unless otherwise stated. I'll be happy to test them upon inquiry, though. Offers welcome, on all items, but I'm not in any rush to get rid of anything. Thanks for looking!

I doubt it will without its heatsink. I had a water block on it. The card was working when I pulled it. I put it in its anti-static bag and hadn't removed it until I took that picture. I think I know someone with a computer I can test it in, but I'm afraid I might burn it up without its heatsink.

It will blow up without a heatsink, was just wondering if it worked before the heatsink was removed.

What type of video chip does that Unisys CWD have? VLB or PCI based I'm guessing?

It has a Cirrus Logic chipset. I couldn't tell you much more than that--it's difficult to find information about these machines online. It doesn't have PCI drivers installed, so I doubt it uses a PCI bus.

Thermaltake Volcano, VLB video card, Mitsumi CD-ROM, and I/O cards all tested and working. Will try to get to the rest later.

Update on the I/O cards: Compaq one has floppy, parallel port, DE-9 serial port, and original Winchester IDE controller (works like a regular IDE controller). Winbond cards have floppy, DE-9 serial, DB-25 serial, parallel, and game ports; ISA card has 1x IDE, VLB card has 2x IDE.
