Has anyone tried any of these RGB video converters with their IIGS?

By any chance has anyone here tried any of the following three devices with their Apple IIGS? I am trying to find a proven way to hook my IIGS up to a modern monitor without shelling out >$200 for the Highway 100 RGB-to-VGA converter solution. All of the below boxes are less than half that price, but I'm curious if anyone has ever used one of them successfully with the IIGS.

1. Converts and scales RGB to VGA:

2. Converts and scales SCART to HDMI (would require a IIGS RGB-to-SCART cable, which are available):

3. Converts and scales SCART to component video (also required an RGB-to-SCART cable):

Thanks!

1. The Ambry unit is likely made by Cypress and has quality control issues. Some work, some don't.
2. Likely works. The key thing with this adapter is if it properly handles 240p video, and doesn't treat the input as 480i. The only way to know is to test them.
3. Cypress CYP-2100 unit. It'll work if your TV doesn't balk at 240p video on its component inputs. Many people modify them to add audio input/output.

Unfortunately a quality scan converter costs at least $200. The cheap units all have their quirks and caveats. The Micomsoft XRGB line is a top performer in this area (particularly for 240p video input and low lag), but you gotta pay to play. The latest XRGB-Mini commands $450, and the XRGB3 is up there in price as well thanks to the strong yen.
