the smallest 16.95$ box that is. But somehow I doubt there's a thriving market of floppy drives going overseas.

There's three flat rate boxes; small, medium (2 styles ) and large and while it won't fit in the small (it almost fits but almost only works in horseshoes) it will fit into any of the medium or large boxes. FWIW, domestic or international is not a factor -- the boxes are the same -- but the price is different.

International flat rate boxes also include the Large Video Box which is just slightly larger than the small flat rate box and should fit a half height 5.25" floppy drive. This is charged at the same $12.95/$16.95 rate of the small flat box and might be a good option to look at. This box is not available for domestic priority mail usage so it might be difficult to find.

i would recommend using the medium flat rate box that looks like a box, not the flat one. That way you can pack them securely. They also work good for full height items and if you do it right, 3 5.25 half heights.

Only problem... that box costs over $30 more than the small box he was hoping to use. But since it doesn't fit into the small box... Shipping is a real PITA -- I know, I do lots of it.

and yes Stoney was right. It's a wee too small to accept the drive. Oh well.
