Frank, you're not looking in the right place. :) You could send that board to Brazil as a First Class package for under $20.

Actually I see a price of US$17.52 for 1st Class or close to that. Ok Lucas if that is the price I will ship or even up to $20.00 I will cover. PM me with offer for the 286 board. It runs very well. It even runs OS/2 1.3!

Thanks Stone for pointing it out.

Hi, i'm from Italy zip code 56121. I'm interested at IBM AT type 1 Mainboard with 512k Ram installed. Has the piggyback Ram chips. My questions are: 1) what means "piggyback Ram chips." (socketed maybe?); 2) What could be cost of shipping; 3) is it working? Had you tested it? Regards Enrico (email: elazzerini AT interfree DOT it)

Hi Enrico, The "Piggyback" RAM is one RAM chip soldered on top of another RAM chip. In this case a 64K chip has another 64k chip soldered on top of it. So it is 2 chips one on top of the other. Only the 1st generation AT boards had this. Later they redesigned the board to take 256k RAM chips. Yes it is tested and working.
Shipping to Italy would be around: Maybe between US$ 25.00 and $35.00. But please realize that this is a BIG board!
