I have an ATTO ExpressPCI PSC card for my G4. I also have a new SCSI hard drive I'm wanting to use with it, but after some Googling, I think it needs the firmware updated.

Unfortunately the patch program and the firmware have been lost to obscurity. ATTO doesn't have it anymore and I can't find it using Google. I think the latest firmware is 1.6.4U.

Crap, nevermind. That's only while under OS X. Argh. Wanna get this working. :(

Running OS 9. I have a 15K RPM Fujitsu Ultra-3 drive connected via 80 to 60 pin adapter to my SCSI card. Sees the drive fine, but it won't let me boot from it. Formatted the drive using FWB HDT 4.5.2.

If it is the Apple OEM version of the card, I don't think it will boot the G4 into OS 9, only OS X.

If you can find the DOS flasher for the card, you can flash it in a PC to be a retail ATTO card and then it should do what you want. The DOS flasher is weird in that it will let you flash both the PC and Mac versions of firmware on the card.

I used to have one of these cards, but I'm afraid I don't have any firmware installers around any more.
