  • From now on we will require that a prefix is set for any items in the sales area. We have created regions and locations for this. We also require that you select a delivery option before posting your listing. This will hopefully help us streamline the things that get listed for sales here and help local people better advertise their items, especially for local only sales. New sales rules are also coming, so stay tuned.

Wanted: DEC VT100/VT101/VT102 terminal

Dec Vt10x terminal

Dec Vt10x terminal

I'm also in search of one of these terminals. Did you come up with any promising leads?

Location, location, location...

A terminal is a large and heavy item to ship. For more valuable replies please post your general position on this globe of ours, or update your profile information and maybe somebody can help you out.

I'm located in Seattle, WA. Still looking.

If you decide that you can't wait for a DEC terminal, I have a Lear-Siegler ADM-3A here in Seattle that you could purchase. It's the one with the rounded case. I was going to use it with my Heathkit ET-3400 Microprocessor Trainer and Memory Expansion Unit, but that's never gonna happen. I'm just not a programmer.

The terminal is missing the little door that covers the jumpers for the settings. As I recall, you can connect it to a printer. Hmm, the Wikipedia article just says you can daisy chain more terminals together:

^ These are both reeaally slow to load.

I spent many years programming on VT100 and VT102 terminals...I'd like to have one for nostalgic reasons and use as a terminal to other systems as I build my computer collection. Even when I had access to VT2xx and VT3xx terminals I still picked the VT100s for some reason. I'd prefer a VT100. Other period VT100 compatible terminals are of no interest to me (currently).
