Compared SLT 286 power supply

Hi,

Does anyone have an idea on where to find a power supply/cord for the SLT 286? A computer place near me has one of these laptops but not the cord and it has me intrigued.

What does the socket look like? Does it have anything written on the case about what voltages it requires?

I was told that it had a plug in shaped like a phone or Ethernet plug in. I do not know the actual voltage as I do not have the computer.

And I guess I made the mistake of using my iPad to post this thread. Autocorrect wants it to be a compared instead of a Compaq

IIRC, the plug is more of a square pin socket with a keyed shroud around it. I've got one, but not here, so I can't measure the voltages for you. I seem to remember it requiring 18V.
