Has anybody in the Dallas area heard anything about the upcoming show.

It's always been held on the second Saturday in March at the DFW Airport Motel.

Contacted the organizer, but haven't heard anything back.

Was planning on attending and having a table to clean out a LOT more stuff.

Well, finally got a response from the organizer today.

Seems the next Retro Electronics Show will be held on 19 March 2016 at the Hurst Conference Center, 1601 Campus Drive.

He won't be taking reservations on vendor tables until after the first of the year due to tax considerations, but given the new venue, I'll probably be setting up a table.

Will let y'all know more as I get the information.

It's confirmed. The DFW Retro Tech Electronics show will be at the Hurst Conference Center, 1601 Campus Drive, Hurst, TX on 19 March.

I've already reserved my table.

I'm probably going to have a bunch of 5.25" full height drives along with miscellaneous books and other stuff that I find in excess to my needs.

The show is 1 day, but always surprises me at what sort of stuff shows up!

Y'all come on down!

One more week!

This time next Saturday, the show will be on!

Some items I will be bringing:

a variety of hard drives, 3.5" and 2.5"
Epson Equity 1+ complete and working
Amiga 500 with 68020 accelerator and 4MB RAM on the accelerator
Amiga 1020 5.25" floppy drive
a couple of external Amiga floppy drives
IBM 760E laptop complete and working
IBM 760ELD laptop complete and working

Y'all come!

AND SPEND MONEY!!!!!

I need a bigger car!

I've started sorting stuff out and getting ready to pack the car and it's obvious it's going to be VERY tight!

Hopefully there will still be enough room for me to drive!

72 hours and counting!

Well, show is come and gone.

Lots of calculators, slide rules, and assorted electronics and just plain weird stuff. Even some portable typewriters!

I covered my table cost and about half of my gas. Guess you could call that a semi-break even point.

Had a lot of fun talking to everyone.

Did discover GPS has a tendency to not find locations. Mine got me lost on the first run at finding the place.

Very nice facility with good parking. Hopefully next year it will be there again, now that I know where it is!

Forgot to mention I felt like I was living in a time warp at my hotel, La Quinta, Hurst.

The wireless was 802.11B! Yeah, 11Mbits/sec.

Almost felt like I was back at 300 baud dial up!
