Try creating a FreeDOS image on the card with Rufus. It's what I used to install Windows onto my Libretto without resorting to a million floppy disks.

Update on this: I just ended up replacing the screen. The screen had the same issue, but it was much less severe.

Found one! Had to buy a whole other Libretto 50CT but finally have 32MB RAM in my 70CT.
