Ive been looking for a floppy drive also. Mines also missing a modem but i just bought a pcmcia wifi card and that works well.

just dropped in a replacement screen. Works well now.

It is a NEC versa 6230 and for the past few days i have been trying to fix its lcd. It will only display white pixels and nothing else. Brightness control works and the vga out works. But i am restoring this laptop and would like the original screen to work. Anyone have a idea what the problem...
