Color Classic upgraded to "CCII" specs, added FPU... Any apps/games to try out?
I posted about the little Color Classic that could a few months ago. My Color Classic now has the following specs:
LC550/Color Classic II logic board (32bit bus, 33mhz 030)
68882/33mhz FPU (just added)
36 MB of RAM (max supported)
80mb HD
I forget how much VRAM but it does thousands of colors at the built-in 512x384 (is that right?) resolution...so whatever that requires.
Ethernet card
I have found and installed a few oldies, such as The Secret of Monkey Island, Prince of Persia (best version, IMO), Flight Sim 4.0, and of course the *must have* game of all time, Oregon Trail.... None of which take advantage of FPU.
What I'm looking for is suggestions and/or disk images (if considered abandonware...I don't intend to get into any legality issues) for any apps or games that support FPU. I know in this day and age it is silly to even care, but for nostalgic purpose I *must* see what difference it makes to have the FPU in...
I believe Falcon MC supported FPU (allowed for a higher detail mode or something along those lines), but I'd also like to learn about apps (math/scientific, CAD software, etc...)
