The first picture is from the estate sale online ad. No mention of anything to do with computers, let alone the brand. Also another picture with an Atari 400, no mention/text about what it was.

I got the IBM PC Jr, keyboard, monitor, joystick, 6 carts for $30 (missing power supply). And the Atari 400 with 3 joysticks (one a Wico) and 6 carts for $30.

They had no idea what the PC Jr was, not knowledgable of old computers, and just wanted to get rid of the stuff in two days. I love finding sales like this.

The PC Jr works fine. haven't tested the Atari, but those things always seem to work.

What kind of keyboard came with the pcjr? Regular keyboard keycaps or chiclet? I like the chiclet variety on this computer. I feel it matches more and its harder to find. I only have 1 chiclet KB and 6 pcjrs. They are the same exact keyboard pcb so its not like the other keycaps will give you that much better of an experience. Is that a subwoofer? harmon kardon and from a very early 2000s dell?

keyboard is the regular keys, not chiclet.

I passed on the giant CRT and a few Dell pentiums.

I know myself, and probably nobody here, would pay it, but I've seen that trinitron fetch hundreds on eBay.

Mine was free from a co worker more than a decade ago. I've used it for games and normal work/docs, but yeah, it does shine for gaming and I know the lines bug some people a little.

Hundred(s)? maybe $150 to $175. They are still pretty common.
I am not kidding, I saw them before at ebay auction top 300 some. Last one that came to mind was local pickup, east coast. But, that was in May of this year, before people started watching their spending on collectables. You're right, they can be had closer to 200 now still even at crazy ebay prices, but, good luck finding anyone short of a packing engineer or medical equipment transportation specialist to ship one and have it arrive intact.

Like I said, we ain't paying it, but someone is.
