recently restored a desktop gateway 2000 4dx2-66v but I have a few questions.

did a google search but couldn't find any info or a manual for this model (it is the older large case with only 3 5 1/4 bays and the Pentium overdrive socket on the MB). what's the MAX RAM limit on this motherboard? also, does anyone have a chart for the DIP switch settings?

lastly was this machine sold retail with a VLB SCSI controller and SCSI CD-ROM drive or was both the HDD and CD drive run off the built-in IDE??

Which motherboard do you have? Gateway used several for the VLB design. The Micronics model was limited to 64 MB but that required uncommon 16 MB sticks; 16 MB will be much easier to obtain and probably plenty anyway.

Could you provide a picture of any labels? The board doesn't look like Micronics. The web page devoted to Anigma motherboards seems to be gone making it hard to compare those images.

don't see any labels besides one for the BIOS. There is one that says warranty void if removed QC:9BP3 and on the board there is 09-00144-01 Rev A1

In that picture there is a label next to the heat sink on the CPU and a label and barcode next to the slot covers. That may have some information.
