Hi,
I have a generic 386 I would like a little help ID'ing. I have put in what I can see into The Retro Web.com and come up empty. But I do not fully know what to put in the Chipset, and CPU socket fields. I think think is a standard AT board.
I have attached pics of all the text I can see stenciled on the MB.
Also do these boards take a lithium 3V Bios battery, or something else?
Many thanks

The chipset is Via and the CPU is an 386SX. In the search results is your motherboard:

Back to this board.
Modem7 You are still the genius ! Much appreciated once again! You found the correct board. Thanks!
Just for my education. How did you tell the chipset was VIA and NOT VLSI or AMI? Those 2 are what I used in RetroWeb and came up zero hits.
Also what is this socket type for this particular soldered on cpu that I can use for future searches?
Again thanks

The majority of the LSI chips are VIA, and only one is VLSI. I may have searched initially using 'VLSI' then tried 'VIA'. I cannot remember.
