Thanks, I need to find out where the compilers are and how to install them. Looking mainly for basic, Fortran and C. Any pointers?
If I can get this machine up and running then I can spend more time trying to troubleshoot the 4000 VLC and get it going as well.

If it's really a Vaxserver 3100 and not a Microvax 3100, the ROM is different and only one login at a time is possible. But the ROM could be changed.
