Hi Folks,

I'm doing a Kaypro 16 restoration. I have come across a processor card board model 81-1230. I can't find this one discussed in the Kaypro Tech Manuals. The Tech manual was published under document 1484-D,E,F. 1884-F seems to be the "latest" floating around.

The first generation Kaypro 16 came with processor card 81-513.

Anybody have any info or insights on what this 81-1230 board is all about?

I know that these style of cards moved forward into the Kaypro 16/2 and Kaypro PC-10.

Thanks. John-A

Also John, Were you ever able to tie down some doscumentation on the Kaypro PC or Kaypro 16?

I'm specifically looking for the MSDOS 2.11 Docs. ... yeah, I know.... "Hen's Teeth", Lol

I've been sick the past few days, I'll open my machine when I get home and see what it says on the card.

I have two or three manuals, I know one is just for GW Basic, I think one may be the owners manual for the computer so that may mean I have a DOS manual, I'll check tonight for that too.

I have this computer, the "Kaypro" "PC" v20 on a card. I think I still have the manuals, there were about a dozen of them, gray covers.
