I am finally making progress on my Kaypro 10. Is there some place that lists what software was installed on which user area (I know there were changes)?
Also a terminal program with ymodem or zmodem ???

I don't think there was a paper list, if that's what you mean.

In CP/M you can use "STAT USR:" to see which user areas contain files.
Use the USER command (for example, USER 1) to change into an area,
then do a DIR.

There were tons of comm packages available for CP/M... MEX, IMP, QTERM, etc.
Typically, you'll need to patch the program for your hardware,
unless you get lucky and find one pre-patched for Kaypro 10.
Check the Walnut Creek CP/M CDROM.

I figured out D $USU which is also pretty handy. The hard disk is just very unorganized and I want to make it close to original.

I use KERMIT-80 with my Kaypro II. I can transfer files at 19200 bps no problem. It's easy to patch as well -- there's a guide floating around that explains the process in detail.
