My first PS/2 was an original Model 30 in college in 1987...been obsessed with them ever since. I've continued to collect various models of the '87-'92 time frame (my personal favorites) and recently picked up another Model 90 (8595) and it's in need of a floppy bezel. Can't seem to find one anywhere (plenty of other models, just not for this one).

Anyone by chance have a lead on one or possibly point me in direction. The journey is part of the fun, but a half "dressed" 8595 doesn't look quite as nice as one that's fully dressed ;-)

If no luck finding the bezel, I would hire an experienced designer and ask him/her to try to duplicate the design, based on photos and with the exact measure, with a 3D printer.

Given the scarcity of these bezels and the level improvements in 3D printing, I'm surprised no one has created anything in this space. No love for the old PS/2's apparently. I've in the past reached out to designers or companies that take one-off type of requests and the prices are beyond ridiculous. Have to wait until someone takes their own initiative and then lists the product(s) on sites like etsy or ebay IMO.

There are some free publicly available models ready to download and send to the 3D printer. I found this:

Bezel for models 50, 50Z and 70

Apparently by looking at the photo, this bezel looks identical to the model 90. Hopefully the dimensions are the same. Maybe you could take a try...

There are also lots of pieces designed, if anyone else interested:

I just investigated the prices of 3D printing in my town. Sent this very model to a calculator and the price is between 5 and 12 eur (depending of the finishing quality and density of material).
