Sorry, I forgot to put battery in the subject. I am trying to find out what kind of battery should be plugged into the battery header on the motherboard. Standard 4 pin header. I just don't know if it should be rechargeable or not. Thanks for any advice!

So, to sum up, the standard battery is NiCD rechargeable. If you need to install an external non-rechargeable, you need to add a diode to prevent the voltage backflow to the battery.
