So BUD has sent me the replica chassis for the 8B. I have a limited supply and do not expect to place another order.
To summarize, these are replicas by the original manufacturer, the main cutout is done and pilot holes are drilled for a Greenlee chassis punch. I did not have the backplane mounting screws or switch holes drilled as they are the easy ones and should be done using your front panel or backplane (with edge connectors in place) as a template.
The cost for these units are $130 plus shipping ( I will ship internationally). I have a limited number of chassis that I punched out using my Greenlee punch (2 have already been allotted for and I may only make one or two more) for an additional $25 dollars.
If you are interested, email me at corey@myapplecomputer.net
I will start shipping later this week.
If you have no idea about the Scelbi, it it one of the coolest vintage machines around, pre-dating the Altair.
