Well, here's some computer related facts:
A.) The Dreamcast was Microsoft CE certified. This allowed legit programmers to easily port such games as "Tomb Raider: Last Revelelation" as well as Resident Evil 2 & 3 from PC to DC.
B.) Microsoft published Shenmue II on Xbox.
C.) Such hardware intensive games as "Morrowind" & Dreamfall & Fable were ported onto Xbox. (Oblivion was ported to Xbox 360.)
D.) Because of the Microsoft CE coding, many hackers were able to make a Dreamcast into a haven for pirated games.
E.) The Sega Saturn & Dreamcast had web browsers back in the day but PS2 & Xbox didn't. Finally we can browse on a console using PS3, Wii, and I guess Xbox 360. (Although the picture on a TV screen isn't as crisp as a monitor so the text is a little hard to read.)
So investment into consoles is now very viable for PC-owners because rather than upgrading their PCs, they can buy the equivalent game on a next-gen console. :D
