In relation to discussion I'm having in another thread, I did an eBay search for an esoteric piece of hardware and discovered that these things are presently going for very small amounts of money.
The TripleHead2Go Analogue Edition is a device built by Matrox that lets you turn 3 monitors into 1 monitor. As in your PC literally "sees" 3 separate displays as a single display. There are other ways to achieve similar effects, but few abstract this at the hardware level the way this device does. TH2G Digital Edition does the same if you swing that way, and can support much higher resolutions.
The reason I bring this up is because TH2Gs are gong for ~$40 loose and ~$70 boxed right now. The digital edition(with DVI ports instead of VGA) is even cheaper. This is a really unique piece of hardware for the era and will probably command very high prices 5-10 years from now. Don't buy it as an investment, buy it because it is interesting.
