I can't identify it. Part of the problem is few of the chips are clear enough to recognize. I need to read the labels on DIP chips to know what they are.

I doubt it is a EGA card, memory looks a bit lacking (if the chips on the left side are memory chips) and it has none of the other (never used) connectors.

Initial reaction is that it is some kind of specialized serial card but that is just based on the layout of the card not chip information.

Is there anything that you can tell about how you got it? Unfortunately, if someone ripped it out of a system, the drivers needed may have gone with the hard drive.
