I don't know if you can help me, but I'm trying to do a project that involves using a microprocessor.

So, I'd like to know two things:

What chips are microprocessors?

Can I do what I was thinking with them?

As this is for a school project (that will be based on the project on the link), I will apreciate all the help you may give me.

You have a pile of chips and you want to know what they are and if they can be used to make a clock?

There are RAM chips. ROM chips. CPUs. Timers. DMA controllers. Floppy drive controllers. Logical AND, OR, NOT, etc. chips. There is a chip for every possible use.

Go to the library and get a book on digital electronics. Go do some some reading online - Wikipedia is a great start. You have a lot of homework that you can do first before asking for help.
