Compaq II Disk Control Board

Is there any way either with the dip switches or jumpers, to make this board work with a Seagate ST-225 MFM drive? I have such a drive, and just want to see if there is still data on it. I still have the original controller card for the drive, but it hasn't been in an anti-static bag (idiot). Is it possible to get this drive working with the compaq controller card, assuming the drive hasn't suffered other damage?

It should work, if it's MFM.

Enterprise, just because you didn't have something in a as bag, doesn't mean it is bad, have you tested it?

The compaqII controller should have a setting to work.

Usually, if you switch a drive to a different kind of controller, the drive will have to be LL-formatted by that controller.
