I have obtained a Mother load of old PC stuff with most never opened. i think most of it is win 3.1 - win 95 era, but i am not for sure. I want to offer it to some enthusiasts before i send it to goodwill, so i searched google, and here i am.

The Story

My Uncle calls me, and says his friend got a divorce and lost his computer business, and do i want some of the stuff. Of course i said yes not knowing he had lost his business many many years ago, and had his inventory stashed in his basement. Well this guy gets remarried, and the new wife insists he get rid of this stuff. The first load was 35 386-486 towers with the numbers on the front. I trashed those not thinking there was any use for them. Then the second came, and i just stored it because it was stuff not opened. The third load came today, and my uncle told me there's a bunch more. Thats when i thought i need to find out how to get rid of this stuff. My search is why i am here. My Uncle lives 200 miles away, so this process is over the course of 6 months so far.

My intentions where to list what i have, but after looking at it today its way to time intensive. There are literally thousands of parts here. Not sure if there Vintage, but there old.

Printers
Motherboards
PC Chips - cyrix chips, and a few pentiums i think.
Modems
Roms
Floppy's - No 5's
Sound cards
Video cards
Keyboards with the old school plugs
A lot of Software
Old Ram - Edo i think.

Are you selling this or giving it away? Are you willing to mail some of the items? I would be interested in some win 3.1 apps if you could give me an idea of what is available and if you could post media mail USPS (I am in ohio).
 
90% i will give away to all that want them as long as you pay shipping. (US ONLY). The Printers i will most likely sell for atleast a small amount plus shipping or something like that. Not trying to get rich here, just trying to get rid of it. I will pull the new load i got yesterday out tomorrow, and check the software. I will do my best to find the compatible 3.1 stuff, and list it for you. I added images of the printers i received with the last pickup truck load.
 
You might as well list all the software since others will probably be interested in it.

I am looking for Xtree Gold DOS or Windows, Borland C++ 3.x, Any Norton Desktop, Microsoft Visual C++ 1-2.0, any decent OS/2 Apps, Desqview, Halo Desktop Imager, and any decent DOS and Win 3.1 Apps in general (plus games) if they are complete in the box (I like the Docs).

Also interested in VLB (Vesa Local Bus) and EISA cards if they happen to be complete in the box and I don't have one already.
 
I dug down, and found win 3.1 compatible stuff. I added a image of it to my top post. Again this does not touch the surface, but i just don't have time at the moment. I found some games, and a virus scanner still in package.

Unknown_K, Some of the stuff you mention i wouldn't know if i had it. it's greek to me. I do have some ISA cards, but not sure of EISA.

This is sort of what i was scared of. Is there anyone in area that can just come and get everything for $50?
 
Damn, if my buddy in Maryland wasn't vacationing in Texas, she'd have packed it in her cube van and drove it all up here and I could fill in that space in the basement that DOESN'T have anything in it right now.

Hey, T, be a good chap and nip on over there, pick it all up, give the nice man 50 buck and drive it up here. There's a good fellow LMAO.

Also, Im looking for a 486 motheroard that will take a i486-DX4 100 w/ at keast 2 VLB slots (no PCI or onboard IO)

Umm, guys, I think the gist of this is that he doesn't want to part it out in dribs and drabs, he wants someone to just come over, give him 50 bucks for a truckload of vintage/semi-vintage stuff, haul it away and let someone who knows what they are looking at part it all out, if I'm not mistaken.

Nathen is getting the 2 Jamicon boards, and the PCI to serial adapters once i get his shipping address from him. Yes i have two Spacewalker by Antec for the 486 DX4 -100 for JDT. JDT, please PM me!! One is sealed, and one is not. The one thats open has all docs, and seems fine though. I also have 2 cyrix M2 chips, and one Pentium chip still in the box that i have found so far. Possibly more, but i still have boxes i have not opened yet. Sorry i have not set any type of inventory list yet. With work, and all i have very little time. My main goal is to get this stuff in the hands of people that will use it instead of Just trashing it. Its true i wanted to just dump all this at once, and not bother with it, but i really do want to share it with the vintage community. I build PC's also, but more of a overclocker, and modern stuff. Vintage is not my cup of tea, but i for sure want to share it with you guys.

One other thing is shipping. I guess it would have to be COD unless you can deposit into my paypal. That can all be worked out in PM.

JDT, Pm me you get the sealed 486 board, and the Pentium chip of you want it.
