epson rx 80 problem

i am using an Atari 800. about a month ago i received an epson rx80 f/t it works fine on my IBM 701c but when using my micro bits micro print interface i cant print it tried once but it only did one line and quit any ideas?

Some makes of vintage computers automatically insert a linefeed for every carriage return, while others don't. Many of the printers from that era may be configured to either behavior, via DIP switches. Your Epson is so configurable, but you'll need to consult the documentation to determine the correct settings.

found switches no more 138 error but still no printing
