One of my greatest joys is Science-Fiction (surprise-surprise!!!). and
I am a avid fan of sci-fi cover art. You folks might remember the
varieties of sci-fi magazines that used to get published, specially at
an era when movies with life-like special effects didn't exist yet.

It is so much fun reading these old and original stories that are filled
with ideas and creative thoughts of their authors. The cover arts are
another amazing feature of these old magazines. Some of them are
hilarious and bizarre, and some others are so prophetic as to their
accuracy.

There are clever people that invest time and effort in collecting these
material that are so priceless:

Take time to go through some of the publications and see for yourself.

I, too, am an avid science fiction/speculative fiction reader and have been since my younger days.

My library consists of, roughly, 1,000 volumes (all paperbacks) including all the English translations of the Perry Rhodan series, with the exception of, I believe, #95

Several of the books I have read a number of times over the years.

That is one magnanimous collection!!! People whose idea of sci-fi is
mainly "star wars" stuff don't know what they are missing...
There is an amazing array of subjects that are delat with in this
genre, and there is always a surprise around the corner.

I can't list all that's out there, but if you do a google search under
"space/fantasy art" you will be in for one remarkable visual treat.

Now then, if you have seen the old stuff, you might want to take a
look at these futuristic artworks from NASA:
