what was that atari game called

I rem in the old days i used to play this Atari game which had 2 fighter planes ( White and a Black) the mission was to reach the highest level, it was kind of an obstacle course we had to clear. i seem to forget details but if someone knows what im talkin about..what was the name?

Lets be reasonable. Have you checked out AtariAge? Almost every game for an Atari system known to man is there.
(Not the computer systems though. Was this an 8-bit Atari computer game, or did you play it on an st?)

Sounds like River Raid to me. Or were the fighters on the screen at the same time? Definitely need more info.
