We need a "classic bbs" hosting site

It would be great if there were some sort of telnet URL that would host your old BBSes for free. Think of how many classic boards would be resurrected! Of course, there's always the problem of making multiple nodes work, file storage, etc.

But still, it would be great to see some old boards.

...speaking of which, I recently extracted my old board from the archives. I'll try and get some screenshots up within the next little while.

I mentioned something along the same lines in a thread about how I missed the camaderie of and dedication of the old BBS' (until they got taken over by horney teenagers in the waning days). Jay West rescued the classiccmp mail-list at over 100 msgs a day.
Perhaps there is another IT Angel like him out there with enough storage and band-width to host such an enterprise. BBS' were the basis of the popular expansion of IT before the internet, and the web would be only a miniscule government ARPNET without them.
