Hi everyone,
I'm the former owner of a Xerox 6045 Memory typewriter. At first I was missing the boot disk and because I couldn't find one after months of googling and making phone calls "à tête reposée" I decided to store it in the garage one winter which pretty much spelled the end of the proper function of the machine. I had every intention of having it repaired, but because it became an eyesore to everyone in the house despite it being limited to the confines of my room, I had to throw it away.
What's left is a like-new ink cartridge (used once for testing), never been used correction tape, a handful of manuals, audio exercises (on 3 cassettes), a screen and floppy drive cleaning kit and 9 font roulettes. The manuals are in French but I'd be glad to translate anything for the new owner.
Not all of the font roulettes were compatible with the computer and I don't know with what Xerox model they were originally intended for, my best guess would be a 6000 series.
I'm giving these away for free because I know how much of a pain it can be to find information and parts for these Xerox computers.
