TV Tuner Driver/Software for DOS?

I have a win95 compatible tv tuner by Intel called the Intercast, and an ATI TV Wonder VE compatible with win98..

I'd like to get them working under DOS.

Something generic that can access any TV tuner ala VLC? Specific drivers? Impossible? Ideas?

The main idea is to hook game systems up to the DOS PC and play them through it on the monitor, and watch videos through it. (Failing this I'll collect a bunch of emulators I suppose, and find a solid media player).

Ideas?

The Intercast uses the Brooktree (now Conexant) BT-848 codec. This code claims to work under DOS when compiled with 32-bit DJGPP.

You didn't say what your PC is, but I'm assuming it's at least a 486. Let us know how it turns out.
