my in-laws have a working northstar advantage with wordstar (with mailmerge), datastar, and supersort software. it has all of the software manuals and software floppies. they are wondering if it is worth selling, donating to a museum of "obsolete technology" or just junking it.

they're hoping to sell it in a package with an NEC spinwriter 3510 printer that may or not be operational (i wasn't sure how to connect or check it).

what is its value? on its own? as a package? is it better to sell these things separately? we're not really sure.

thanks!

It's always best, IMO, to sell as a package.

A working Advantage with docs and software is probably worth at least several hundred dollars if it's in good cosmetic condition.
