Greetings all:

I have 3 known working/tested IBM Microchannel cards for sale. I will accept $50 each or best offer plus shipping on them. I can not (naturally) guarantee them in any way due to age, but they all currently function very well.

They are:

1: 3COM Etherlink MC TP (10 Base T plus AUI).
2: IBM XGA MC card
3: IBM SCSI card with cable and on board RAM.

I do have pictures! I will send these upon request.

Please PM me if you are interested in one or all of these cards. The shipping weight will probably be around 4 LBS with packaging per card.

Obviously, I am also including the ADF files on a diskette with each card.

Thanks and I hope someone can use them!!!

Just providing info:

1: I'm guessing this is the 3C529-TP Etherlink III?: http://www.ibmmuseum.com/OhlandL/NIC/3com_529.html

2: http://www.ibmmuseum.com/OhlandL/video/XGA1.html. VRAM quantity (either 512Kb or 1Mb)?

3: "Spock": http://www.ibmmuseum.com/OhlandL/IBM_SCSI/SCSI-C.html. The RAM is cache for the SCSI bus, typically 512K, can be expanded to 2Mb with the right SIMMs. Is the cable internal (which system?) or external?

Also helpful to know the EPROM versions, as on that page and my http://www.ibmmuseum.com/projects/SCSILEVL/ page...

I am not sure on those questions. I have no idea what level of VRAM is on the XGA adapter? I will assume 512K however. It is from an 8595 tower.

The 3Com has a part number of 6852-10 Rev Band is silkscreened along the backplane next to the blue handle: "Etherlink MC/MC TP". The RJ45 jack is on the top and the AUI is right underneath.

The cable is the internal cable on the SCSI card.

Hope that helps.

On the picture this would be evident whether all or half of the VRAM sockets are populated...

http://www.ibmmuseum.com/OhlandL/NIC/3com_523.html#3C523_TP, it may not work in 486+ MCA systems unless a later revision (if it ran for you on the 8595, then it should be fine. These were also put on RS/6000 workstations of the time.

The cable is the internal cable on the SCSI card...

Also from the 8595?...

Your Spock is the ¨newest¨ version, with quite a few enhancements for IML partitions, sharing drives, etc...
