16MB hdd Original OS installed. This computer was truly barely used, and works great. The original keyboard, monitor, printer, and cables are included.

Hi. I am looking to buy my 9 year old son a Tandy 1000, the same computer I started with. I think it would be a good way to teach him Dos. He wants to work in the computer field when he grows up. I am not sure how much you are asking for, for the Tandy, & if you are within driving distance from Buffalo, NY, because I am sure it would be rather expensive to ship the Tandy if I were to purchase it. The Tandy 1000 is in the first link they provided (it's on ebay). The current price is $69 although it doesn't have any bids yet (may be that folks are waiting till the end). It's not a bad price considering it has the actual Tandy brand keyboard and monitor (as well as a printer although printers take up space it certainly looks cool and completes the set if you have it set up).

You might check your local craigslist for vintage computers as well. I think the Tandy is still fairly common so there's a chance you may find one for cheaper, especially if it's not a matching lot (generic keyboard/monitor).
