Hi,

Is there a way to read the 6540 ROM´s in a epromburner? (using an adapter for the pinout to a 2716? i know the adpters from 6540rom.com and from nicolas welte work the other way around ...)
does the 6540 need the clockimpulses? to output data?

I would like to verify which of my PET 2001 ROM´s are "dead" ...

greetings TOM:)

Yes. You could try to connect clock with A0 and the adress lines of the 6540 with the corresponding higher address lines of the EPROM-adapter. Like this:

6540 2732
clk a0
a0 a1
a1 a2
a2 a3
...and so on.

Only each second byte of the resulting image will contain your data, but that's better than no data ;-)

Hi, would it be OK to connect a0 (2732) to clk and to a0 (6540)?????

Greetings TOM:)
