@Stone, I didn't read carefully enough about the monitor not working, but you would hope that whatever makes it not work might be an easy fix. The 5154 that I have, I paid $300 for last year. :(
 
I don't have any more hope left in me at this point. I've got a garage full of doorstops of various types. Hard drives, motherboards, expansion cards, monitors, floppy drives..... and so on. I should open a doorstop mart! :)
